Oh dear. Britain's Streets of Poverty program's example people have nicer houses and nicer neighbourhoods than ours. God, we really have to get out of the dump that is Hometown and the whole of Home Province too, please. I've been up since too early, catching up on all the washing, feeling groggy. I think it's the damp in the house. Really, I quite like this house, surely it's the best we've had in the past four years and the neighbours aren't students or otherwise noisy. But wouldn't it be our time to live somewhere fit for humans, for once? Nothing new, nothing new. I'm going to go and deal with some more medical paper work and buy some Christmas presents today. |
