In the moon
April 18, 2004 || Things that go "Meep!"
Today my mom phoned me, like she often does, and we talked about this and that in general for a while, until she happened to mention that they were having quite a nice weather in Scotland. Scotland?! It seems my folks are in Scotland and that I was told about this and was supposed to know. Oh well.

My cousin in Scotland, only 20 years old and recently engaged, has just found out that she, too, has PCOS and is quite upset about this. Sigh. Maybe we have faulty genes... If only things wouldn't get this difficult for her, were she ever to want children...

Ho hum. Yesterday we tried to open a joint bank account, only to find out that
a) according to the company providing the bank with its credit information we're not registered as recidents in our address of two years, and
b) our current address is, in any case, blacklisted for some studenty reason.

This kind of makes me think that if we do not even qualify for a bank account, we're hardly going to be getting any mortgages any time soon.

Have to find a new house to rent, have to find a new house to rent, Have To Find a New House To Rent!

Tomorrow we're starting the excavations properly, getting more excavators on site, three of whom were in my year in the university, and are really nice and good fun.

Money situation feels a bit like skating on thin ice, balancing on one edge only... while singing and enjoying the nature around...
