I have some possibly good news. Let's start with the red walls. We might have found ourselves a new flat. It's along the same avenue where we live now, which is nice, because I like this tree-lined, lively street, with its old stone churches with small, blossoming garderns in both ends. The flat has only one bedroom, which will cause some confusion with where to put all our stuff. I don't mind. The living room is huge and (this is the best part) has bright red walls. I've been craving to live somewhere with some colour, after all these studenty magnolia walled flats. Also, the flat has gas heating (as much hot water as we want!) and a washing machine (good bye unfunctioning Student Union laundrette!) I went to see my GP to get a doctor's note. She told me I have stress. That was very perceptive of her, I think. Aaanyways. So she says my stomach pains and head aches are caused by stress, and gave me some pills to ease them. I'm not going to touch them pills though, but am trying to destress myself a bit instead. |
